چکیده
Manufactured Sand (M Sand) has become a viable alternative for the river sand in construction industry as potential fine aggregate. The M poses environmental implications it is produced by crushing natural resources like stones. extensive use of may also lead to reduction availability due depletion rocks days come. Hence, this study attempts assess feasibility utilizing clayey soil containing Kaolinite – Montmorillonite (KM) predominant clay mineral, replacement preparation cement mortar and block that are used masonry construction. In case concrete units, replaced 25%, 50%, 100% with KM Soil, an attempt made produce mortars completely replacing soil. Further, properties blocks prepared assessed compared ones Sand. Also, performance stack bonded prisms compressive strength bond shear various prism combinations Concrete units mortars. results indicate assemblies both have performed moderately well comparison one

Properties of Cement Mortar by Use of Hot-Melt Polyamides as Substitute for Fine Aggregate
This paper presents an experimental study on use of hot-melt polyamide (HMP) to prepare mortar specimens with improved crack healing and engineering properties. The role of HMP in the crack repairing of cement mortar subjected to several rounds of heat treatment was investigated. Compatibility between HMP and hydraulic cement was investigated through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transfor...

The present investigation aims at the study of properties of concrete in which stone dust is used as a partial replacement for coarse sand and tyre-chips of size 4.7 to 10 mm as partial replacement of coarse aggregate by weight.
متن کاملapplication of sewage dry sludge as fine aggregate in concrete
the present work has been performed to eliminate sewage dry sludge of alborze city wastewater treatment plant by using them as fine aggregate in concrete. on this basis, at first the selected dry sludge was analyzed for xrd and xrf for crystalline phases and chemical composition, respectively. the results showed that more than 50% of the sludge is formed of sio2 and it had more than 20% organic...
متن کاملUse of glass wastes as fine aggregate in Concrete
Glass is widely used in our lives through manufactured products such as sheet glass, bottles, glassware, and vacuum tubing. Glass is an ideal material for recycling. The use of recycled glass helps in energy saving. The increasing awareness of glass recycling speeds up inspections on the use of waste glass with different forms in various fields. One of its significant contributions is to the co...
